The shock absorbers for Pikolin storage beds have been designed so that you can renew the hydraulic pistons of your folding storage bed if they have lost their strength over the years or in case you need pistons with higher strength. Shock absorbers are one of the main elements of any folding storage bed as they guarantee a smooth opening of the lid. They have a clip fastening system, which facilitates its placement. They are 385 mm long from end to end and around 363 mm between the centres of the holes at the ends. For front-opening folding storage beds, we recommend that you choose pistons of 600 to 1250 newton depending on the width of your mattress. For side-opening storage beds, we recommend pistons of 400 newton. Also, if the mattress has a height lower than 20 cm, it is probably better to use pistons corresponding to the width measurement that is immediately below. This product is only compatible with Pikolin branded folding beds bought after 2010.
