Ensuring safety during product testing is just as important as during its delivery, therefore, we have created this action protocol, which we will notify the customer of when we get in touch to schedule the time and date of delivery in case Pikolin is directly managing the delivery.

 

 

Our Action Protocol

We have designed a strict action protocol for all of our rest-related product deliveries that follows all of the official recommendations

  • We strictly follow all of the recommendations provided by Public Health authorities.
  • We check the temperature of our delivery employees every morning. The vehicles are disinfected as well as the hands of our team.
  • The delivery vans are cleaned and disinfected before the products are loaded.
  • All of our logistics team working in the various offices we have across Spain wear FFP2 masks while loading and unloading the products.
  • Protective screens are used for home deliveries.
  • Protective gloves are worn for home deliveries.
  • Overshoe covers are worn to enter homes, which are put on before entering.
  • Our team will be carrying with them an individual hygiene kit.
  • All of our mattresses are delivered in sealed plastic packaging.
  • We constantly clean all mobile devices (both tablets and phones) with disinfectant.

With our special NO-CONTACT service, all the information will be added automatically to the electronic delivery note and recorded in our system. This way, there will be nothing to sign and contact is minimized.

  • We have created a special NO-CONTACT service that we recommend you to also make use of. With this, our delivery employee will knock at the door and leave the mattress outside. The customer will then have the option to bring in and position the mattress themselves, if that’s what they want to do. With this service, instead of signing on phone or POS, the delivery employee will note down the customer’s name and ID number in the space for the signature. This information will be added automatically to the electronic delivery note and recorded in our system. This way, there will be nothing to sign and contact is minimized.
  • Cash payments are not accepted.
  • In the event an old mattress is to be collected, we will wrap it in a special plastic bag inside the customer’s house. This process is carried out by two team members.
  • This NO-CONTACT service is not available for folding storage beds which require assembly or for very large mattresses. In these two cases, the delivery will be made by two team members and we ask that you let us know in which room you would like us to put the item. Please, bear in mind the following:
    • Our objective will be to enter and to exit the home as soon as possible to ensure minimum contact with any surface in the home.
    • We request that all doors be opened to access the home without the need to touch any handles.
    • The receiving room should be clean and cleared.
    • We will stay at a distance of two metres for safety purposes while the work is being carried out.
    • We will place the mattress in the indicated place.
